MOMENT YOU ENJOYED WITH YOUR FAMILY
Yesterday, I had loads of fun with my family. I think I had not had this much of fun with my family in as long as I can remember. With my dad being a workaholic, my brother being busy with his studies and my mother who’s time is always taken up by house chores, we can never find time as a family to go out together and have a ball of a time.

Well, yesterday my dad decided that we all go to the beach for dinner at a restaurant. We decided to go to the beach early to book a table at the restaurant, but we found out that the whole restaurant was booked for a party on that same evening. The manager told us that we would not be able to dine there but we could certainly pack the food in containers and eat it somewhere else. My dad decided we would sit by the shore and have a picnic. I dreaded the thought of that idea because my parents and brother were not the type of people I could easily open up to.

When we all sat down at the picnic table, there was an utter silence because no one knew what to talk about! My mom then uttered a riddle,” There is a one storey house in, which everything is blue. The carpet is blue, the walls are blue, the floors are also blue, etc. So what is the colour of the flight of stairs?” My dad and brother shouted loudly “BLUE!” and my mom broke out laughing. “You fool’s! The house is one-storey thus how will it have a flight of stairs?” my mom asked them. We all ended up laughing, sharing funny moments with each other as a family.

My brother and I are ardent football fans and upon seeing a soccer ball on the beach, we started playing beach soccer. We would purposely pull each other shirts when we were on the verge of scoring or rugby tackle each other (if we did such a thing in a real soccer match, we would be shown a red card on the spot).

On the whole, having such a family outing was really fun and I hope to have more of these activities.
